Episode 122 - Mercy v. Righteousness: Lessons from The Mandalorian

Which is more faithful: Following the letter of the law or seeking to love your neighbor? Our faith regularly encounters situations that puts us up against this question. This week the Beyond Sunday team is pulling in an example from the Star Wars universe of the recently release episodic story The Mandalorian. We’ll follow this religious zealot’s path as he chooses love of his neighbor over “the way” of his religious order. Then we’ll look for every day examples where we too have to choose between fundamentalism and faithfulness; between righteousness and mercy.
