Episode 52 - The Anniversary Special: Is Nostalgia Dangerous?

Beyond Sunday is turning 1! We’re learning to walk, saying our first few words, eating solid foods, and not quite ready to be potty trained. This week we’ll look back on some of our favorite stories that we’ve covered in the past year. Then we will take a few minutes to talk about “nostalgia.” We all look back on our past with fondness and often we end of glossing over, or even ignoring, the struggle and challenges that the past brought with it. This means we look back on the “good ol’ days” with the intention of recapturing something that, in reality, never was. How does this affect our ability to live into the future of the world? How does this direct our faith? How can we honor our past and not be hindered from moving forward? We’ll tackle all these questions and more on this week’s episode of Beyond Sunday!
